5 Star Jets adds iDenfy AML and ID checks

5 Star Jets integrated iDenfy identity checks and AML screening into the crypto payment system, adding support for 1,000+ digital assets and real-time screenings against global watchlists.
The integration brings iDenfy's tools into 5 Star Jets' client onboarding and payment workflows to address compliance for high-value transactions settled in digital assets. The companies describe the setup as meeting expectations from Tier-1 banking partners while keeping booking steps simple for clients.

Functioning as the first layer of the crypto payment gateway, iDenfy's system screens each client funding a flight or an aircraft acquisition in real time against sanctions and watchlists. Identity checks run during onboarding and again before payments are approved, creating one process for both fiat and crypto transactions.
According to the companies, the platform supports document recognition for more than 3,000 document types issued in over 200 countries and territories, including passports, national ID cards, driver's licenses and residence permits. The system pairs document checks with facial recognition that includes deepfake detection and altered image analysis, with in-house verification specialists available to review edge cases.
The verification tools connect to existing payment systems without major technical changes on the client side. Pricing applies only to approved verifications; rejected or incomplete checks are not billed.
5 Star Jets is in the final stages of launching a Jet Card program funded entirely with digital assets. The program is designed to operate globally on a continuous basis and will use the same verification and screening framework.

The partnership is framed against EU anti-money-laundering directives and guidance from the Financial Action Task Force for high-value dealers, which require customer due diligence when accepting digital assets. Private aviation providers have faced heightened attention from regulators as cryptocurrencies are used in large transactions.
