MoonPay Buys Dawn Labs, Launches Dawn CLI for Prediction Markets

MoonPay announced it acquired Dawn Labs and launched Dawn CLI in posts on X. Dawn CLI is an AI-powered tool that converts plain-English strategy descriptions into executable trading plans for prediction markets.

Dawn CLI automates user research, code generation, simulation and live execution, enabling users without programming skills to build and run trading strategies, Neeraj Prasad, founder of Dawn Labs, wrote on X. Prasad described Dawn Labs’ work as building systems that allow AI agents to reason about markets, access financial rails, coordinate capital and execute user-directed actions.

MoonPay posted that it will integrate Dawn CLI into its platform so users can deploy strategies across prediction-market venues and use MoonPay’s payments and wallet infrastructure for onchain execution. The company did not disclose the terms of the acquisition.

The announcement follows recent product launches from MoonPay. In February the firm introduced MoonPay Agents, a noncustodial infrastructure layer intended to let AI agents create wallets and transact autonomously. Earlier this month MoonPay launched the MoonAgents Card, a stablecoin debit card that lets AI agents and users spend directly from onchain wallets.

Prediction-market trading has increased on platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket. MoonPay noted that combined lifetime volumes for those platforms exceeded $150 billion in April and cited that activity when explaining the rationale for offering predictive-trading tools to more users.

Prasad wrote on X, “I'm thrilled to announce that Dawn Labs has been acquired by MoonPay, and that we're launching Dawn CLI, our first consumer-facing product.”

MoonPay wrote it will make Dawn CLI available to retail users who lack programming backgrounds and will connect the tool to onchain payments and wallets for live trading.
