Jupiter Gacha debuts on-chain Pokémon and One Piece cards
Jupiter launched Jupiter Gacha beta, selling randomized packs of graded Pokémon and One Piece cards slabbed and tokenized on Solana and tradable on its DEX.
Jupiter launched Jupiter Gacha in beta on Monday, offering randomized packs that contain real, graded Pokémon and One Piece trading cards. Each physical card is sealed in a tamper-evident plastic slab and issued a unique token on the Solana blockchain, enabling on-chain transfers and trading on Jupiter's decentralized exchange.
Under the program, third-party grading services authenticate and slab each card before Jupiter links it to an on-chain token. Buyers receive a randomized pull from a pack; the token represents the authenticated slab and can be moved across Solana-based markets or traded directly on Jupiter's DEX.
The packs include cards from both the Pokémon franchise and the One Piece trading card series. Jupiter posted on X that “Every pull is an authenticated slab, the same cards you chased as a kid, now tradeable on Jupiter.” The platform operates the token trading and secondary-market functions on its exchange.
Jupiter has previously worked with regulated tokenization providers to issue fully on-chain assets using its infrastructure. Other marketplaces and platforms already trade tokenized physical cards, and trading activity for tokenized Pokémon cards increased in May during the franchise's 30th anniversary.
Jupiter described the launch as a beta and indicated that mechanics, custody arrangements and secondary-market features may change as the project develops. The exchange did not publish a full custody or storage policy in its initial announcement. Buyers are shown the token that represents the slabbed card at purchase; the physical card is handled by the grading and custody processes before tokenization.
The Jupiter Gacha offering places physical, graded collectibles onto Solana by pairing each slabbed card with an on-chain token and enabling direct trading on the Jupiter DEX. Further operational details, including long-term custody and redemption procedures, were not included in the initial post.
