June bitcoin output drops at CleanSpark, BitFuFu and Canaan

CleanSpark mined 614 BTC in June, BitFuFu 125 BTC and Canaan 64 BTC, all down from May amid lower hashrates and site issues.

CleanSpark, BitFuFu and Canaan reported lower bitcoin production in June compared with May. CleanSpark mined 614 BTC in June, down from 671 in May; BitFuFu produced 125 BTC versus 177 in May; Canaan mined 64 BTC compared with 90.

CleanSpark's monthly output fell about 9% as its average operating hashrate declined from roughly 46 exahash per second (EH/s) in May to about 43 EH/s in June. The company ended June holding 13,924 BTC. CleanSpark shares rose 7.7% to $13.30 after the company announced a $6.6 billion, 20-year lease for an AI data center campus in Sandersville, Georgia.

BitFuFu's production dropped roughly 29% as total hashrate slipped from about 19.5 EH/s in May to roughly 15 EH/s in June. The company attributed the decline mainly to lower managed hashrate while expanding its self-owned fleet. BitFuFu deployed 1,200 S21 XP miners during June, lifting self-owned hashrate to about 3.5 EH/s. The firm also signed agreements to deploy another 2,000 rigs in July and secured 5.3 EH/s of contracted hashrate starting in August. BitFuFu shares traded up about 6% to $1.42.

Canaan's June output fell about 29%, which the company attributed in part to power grid maintenance at one mining site. A Texas joint venture recovered from wildfire-related disruptions that had reduced output in May. Canaan added 49 BTC to its treasury in June, ending the month with a record 1,915 BTC. Its shares slipped about 1.5% to $0.30.

Mining difficulty fell more than 10% in mid-June to its lowest level so far in 2026, reducing the computational work required to mine new blocks. Bitcoin's price recovered to above $64,200 after dipping to roughly $57,800 near the end of June. Each company reported actions to restore or expand capacity through equipment deployments, contracts or infrastructure projects.
