Grayscale names Anchorage custodian in Hyperliquid ETF filing
Grayscale amended its SEC filing for the proposed Hyperliquid ETF, replacing Coinbase with Anchorage as the fund’s custodian.
Grayscale Investments filed an amendment with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that replaces Coinbase with Anchorage as the custodian for its proposed Hyperliquid exchange-traded fund.
The revised registration names Anchorage as the entity responsible for holding and safeguarding the fund’s digital assets and for settlement and safekeeping duties outlined in the filing.
The change is reflected in the SEC filing record for the Hyperliquid ETF and does not alter other disclosures in the registration statement.
Custodians listed in ETF filings are charged with securing the underlying assets and supporting operational tasks related to settlement and safekeeping.
The amendment will require operational coordination among Grayscale, Anchorage and other service providers named in the registration statement.
Any further amendments to the application, and any SEC approvals or rejections, will be recorded through additional filings in the agency’s system.
Grayscale, the asset manager behind several digital asset products, submitted the Hyperliquid registration as part of its effort to obtain permission to list the fund on a securities exchange.
