Bitcoin, Ether ETFs Post $282M Weekly Inflows
U.S. spot bitcoin and ether ETFs recorded $281.8 million in net inflows over the five trading days ending Friday, ending eight-week outflow streaks for both asset classes.
U.S. spot bitcoin and ether exchange-traded funds collected a combined $281.8 million in net inflows over the five trading days ending Friday, reversing eight consecutive weeks of withdrawals for both asset classes.
Bitcoin-focused ETFs drew about $197.4 million for the week, while ether-focused ETFs attracted roughly $84.4 million. The funds had been in weekly net outflows for eight straight weeks prior to this result; those withdrawals removed about $8.26 billion from bitcoin products and about $1.20 billion from ether products.
Flows were concentrated early in the week. Monday produced the largest single-day gain at $265.69 million, followed by a $21.44 million inflow on Tuesday. Combined outflows on Wednesday and Thursday totaled $180.16 million, and Friday’s $90.44 million of inflows reduced the week’s net outflow pressure created midweek.
Friday’s bitcoin inflows were concentrated in a small number of products. One leading bitcoin ETF took in $86.83 million on the day, and another added $3.61 million; other bitcoin products reported no net flows on Friday. Ether ETFs recorded inflows in four of the five sessions, with Wednesday’s $70.48 million being the largest single-day gain. Thursday was the week’s only negative session for ether ETFs, with $52.08 million withdrawn. Friday added $18.43 million to ether funds, led by two funds that drew $16.20 million and $2.23 million respectively; the remaining ether products were flat for the session.
The weekly inflows recovered a small portion of recent losses. Bitcoin ETFs regained about 2.4% of the capital lost during their previous eight negative weeks, while ether funds recovered about 7%. Both categories remained negative year-to-date; since the start of 2026, bitcoin ETFs have posted roughly $5.34 billion in net outflows and ether ETFs about $1.35 billion in net outflows.
Net asset levels remained substantial. Bitcoin ETF net assets stood at $77.42 billion on Friday, while cumulative net inflows into bitcoin ETFs since launch totaled $51.28 billion. Ether ETF net assets totaled $9.59 billion, about $1.38 billion below the category’s cumulative inflows of $10.97 billion.
Trading activity for the week was relatively light. Bitcoin ETF trading volume for the five-session week totaled about $8.41 billion, the lowest full-week figure since October 2024. Ether ETF trading volume came to roughly $2.05 billion, the smallest full-week total since May 2025. On Saturday morning, bitcoin traded near $64,300 and ether around $1,810.
