Binance builds financial super app with gold and stocks
Binance added gold and silver perpetuals in January 2026 and launched U.S. equities plus tokenized bStocks in June 2026, expanding beyond crypto trading.
Binance expanded its product set by adding gold and silver perpetual contracts in January 2026 and launching U.S. equities and tokenized bStocks in June 2026. Users can now trade commodities, stocks and cryptocurrencies within a single account.
The gold and silver products are perpetual futures settled in stablecoin and offered through a Binance entity recognized under the Abu Dhabi Global Market framework. The U.S. equities offering gives eligible users access to over 7,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs with zero-commission trading and fractional shares from $5. bStocks are 1:1 tokenized versions of major equities issued on BNB Chain that trade 24/7 and can be used with decentralized finance applications.
Binance reported early adoption of the bStocks product. Assets in bStocks rose from $5.6 million to more than $100 million within 15 days, and cumulative trading volume reached $458 million in that period. About 47% of bStocks trading occurred outside traditional U.S. market hours, and 58% of activity came from users in emerging markets.
The company says its platform serves more than 320 million registered users and intermediates roughly a third of global centralized exchange volume, with median daily spot turnover near $16 billion. Over the past 12 months Binance accounted for 42.5% of global futures volume. As of June 1, 2026, the exchange reported $153 billion in disclosed proof-of-reserves wallets, representing 56.5% of the assets shown for six major platforms.
Binance added payments and wallet services alongside trading. Binance Pay had cleared more than one billion transactions, with cumulative payments volume of $7.41 billion as of 2025. Other services on the platform include Binance Earn, Binance Wallet and Binance Square. The BNB token functions as a fee discount mechanism, a staking asset and a key for participation in token launches.
Operational features that support multiple products include a large existing user base, shared custody and settlement infrastructure, and funded customer balances on the platform. A single account and unified identity checks allow users to move funds between trading, payments and onchain applications without external transfers.
On regulation, the GENIUS Act established a federal framework for dollar stablecoins in 2025. U.S. regulators are drafting rules that could permit a licensed platform to custody and trade multiple asset classes within one entity. The company continues to roll out its multi-asset offerings across markets while referencing applicable regulatory requirements.
