Sharplink Adds 10,000 ETH, Repurchases 2.13M SBET Shares

Sharplink bought 10,000 ETH at an average $1,611 and repurchased 2,132,773 SBET shares at $4.69, bringing its ETH holdings to 886,725 as of June 28.

Sharplink, based in Miami, disclosed Tuesday that it acquired 10,000 ether at an average price of $1,611 per ETH and repurchased 2,132,773 shares of its common stock at an average $4.69. The transactions increased the company’s ether holdings to 886,725 ETH as of June 28.

The ETH purchase implied a transaction value of about $16.1 million. The share repurchases were executed in the open market under an ongoing buyback program and bring Sharplink’s cumulative repurchases to 4,071,223 shares since the program began in August 2025. The disclosures followed the completion of a $75 million registered direct offering of common stock and warrants in the week ended June 28.

Sharplink described the acquisitions as part of a strategy to grow ETH as a long-term reserve asset and to manage capital with the objective of increasing ETH per share. The company noted the ETH purchase is its first publicly announced acquisition in about eight months.

Joseph Chalom, chief executive officer, said: “The successful completion of our $75 million registered direct offering last week has strengthened our balance sheet and provided the capital to support our active ETH treasury management strategy. Our capital allocation philosophy is disciplined and straightforward: every financing decision we make is based on our long-term objective to increase ETH per share.”

Market trading showed ether around $1,550 during the disclosures and Sharplink shares (SBET) moved from a close of $4.92 on Monday to about $4.78 in early trading on Tuesday. The company did not disclose counterparties or the trading venues used for the ETH or stock purchases.

Sharplink has continued to add to its public corporate ETH treasury while carrying out financing and buyback activity.
