Allium Raises $40M Series B for On-Chain Data

Allium raised $40 million in a Series B led by Amplify Partners. The New York startup standardizes on-chain data for clients including Visa, Stripe, Coinbase and a16z Crypto.

Allium, a New York-based blockchain data startup, has raised $40 million in a Series B round led by Amplify Partners. Kleiner Perkins and Theory Venture participated. The financing brings Allium's disclosed funding to about $61.5 million. The company declined to disclose its post-money valuation.

Allium ingests, cleans and standardizes on-chain data from more than 150 blockchains and makes it queryable for banks, payment processors, exchanges, asset managers and analytics platforms. Customers include Visa, Stripe, Coinbase and a16z Crypto. U.S. Federal Reserve publications have referenced the company's datasets.

Clients use the data for transaction monitoring, portfolio and counterparty analysis, product development and other workflows that require consistent, auditable on-chain records. Normalizing data across chains and formats reduces the need for firms to build their own ingestion and cleaning tools.

The Series B follows a $16.5 million Series A in July 2024 that was led by Theory Venture. At that time Allium's disclosed funding totaled about $21.5 million.

The broader blockchain analytics sector has been undergoing consolidation and cost cutting. Several firms have reduced headcount and some assets have been sold at prices below prior private valuations.

With the new capital, Allium plans to expand its engineering and data teams, extend coverage to additional blockchains and transaction types, deepen integrations with existing clients and broaden its product set to support more complex analytics and compliance workflows.
